Dynamic Scottish business Little Einstein’s, which runs a chain of top-performing children’s nurseries in Glasgow and on Tayside is seeking a suitably qualified and fully motivated manager at Wonderland Nursery Perth.
The nursery, which is owned and managed by Little Einstein’s Kindergarten Limited, is a purpose built setting that caters for children aged 0-14 years and can accommodate 180 children at any one time. We also provide school pick up, school drop off and after school services.
Wonderland Nursery Perth is open 52 weeks a year from 7.00am to 6.00pm. Our qualified cook provides nutritious, healthy meals and snacks made fresh daily. We provide a fun and stimulating environment, which is safe and secure. We believe that care and education are inseparable and a loving atmosphere fostered by good relationships between home and nursery helps a child feel happy, settled and secure in their life.
Our main aim is that all children develop as individuals and we make appropriate provision within the curriculum to ensure each child receives the widest possible opportunity to develop their skills and abilities. We look to encourage all aspects of development, supporting and guiding children emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually. We also hope to encourage confidence and independence to help children cope in life and in preparation for the school environment.
We are registered with the Care Inspectorate and take pride in working closely with them in order to provide the best care to the children of our nursery.
Little Einstein’s wants to hear from Managers with experience in the sector and with a level 4 in management or degree qualifications in childcare and experience in working with the curriculum for excellence who share its ambition to provide the highest possible standards of care and education.
The successful candidate is promised full opportunity to develop their talents within the team-based organisation which recognises individuals’ contributions – both in terms of potential for promotion within the business and through a comprehensive array of staff incentives.
The nurseries’ owner, Ms. Arti Poddar, said: “At Wonderland Nursery Perth we seek, at all times to look after the children in our care to the highest possible standards and to provide them with a healthy, safe and secure environment; we also care for the children of a number of our staff which a testament to the quality of care and education that we provide.”
“Our organisation has come a long way in a relatively short space of time, and we are now at the stage where we need to ensure we have the staff resources to keep pace without compromising quality of service.”
“Our highly motivated and committed nursery staff are the real strength of our services, as they continually ensure we offer a much better than average service in every regard.”
She added: “The single biggest factor driving our success is the still unanswered demand, in many areas of the country, for the sort of high quality provision we are able to deliver. We’re therefore obviously keen to hear from people who want to tap into our wholly focused and carefully structured staff organisation.”
“As committed care professionals we have long operated a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of our operations and our programme of enhancements in facilities and processes is a signal of our commitment to improving yet further the existing levels of care we provide.”
“First class education and care for every child is at the heart of our mission and together with my team I relish the opportunity to drive our services forward to become a standard-setter for the nursery sector in Scotland.”
Little Einstein’s currently employs 150 staff across its chain of nurseries, registered and caring for up to 500 children at any one time.
